Urgent Prayer Request

I just received a phone call from Pastor Joseph who informed me that one of his church leaders (Jasnel) has been seriously injured on a construction site earlier today.  Jasnel is the worship leader for the church in Desarmes–the church whose building our mission team will be working in two weeks to rebuild.  He has been rushed to the hospital in Saint-Marc where he is receiving emergency medical care.  Joseph said that his injury does not appear to be life-threatening, but Jasnel has lost a lot of blood as a result of the accident.

Pastor Joseph has asked us to pray for this situation and Jasnel in particular.  God is at work there in Haiti, and as Joseph mentioned on the phone, when God’s people awaken to the mission and partner together for kingdom advance, there will be great challenges and spiritual warfare that await us.  We advance on our knees, so brothers and sisters, let us be militant in our prayers on behalf of our Haitian family.

Pastor Joseph expects to be able to send more information tomorrow (Saturday), and I will update this post as more information is gathered.
